Deepening Taiwan–U.S. Family Resource Integration and Building a New Platform Connecting Taiwanese Families with Leading New York Families
Taipei / New York — Gamma Paradigm Research recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with New York-based family office S.H. Hirth & Associates. With Taiwan and New York as its core hubs, the collaboration will focus on family office development, private markets, growth capital, and cross-border resource integration, helping Taiwanese families connect more directly with New York, US families and international families, and global co-investment networks.
Gamma Paradigm Research is listed on the Taipei Exchange (TPEx) GISA Board. The company focuses on cross-border capital markets research and family office management, and owns Gamma Paradigm Advisory Co., Ltd. as its investment advisory subsidiary. This collaboration further strengthens Gamma Paradigm’s connection with the U.S. market and New York’s family capital network.
S.H. Hirth & Associates was founded by Mr. Steven H. Hirth and has long been active in family offices, co-investments, and growth capital. Mr. Hirth describes his mission as having “a positive impact on at least four people every day,” pursued through his family office, family foundation, and traditional European-style bank. As a “Financial Sherpa, Shaman, and Schadchen” — a financial guide, trusted advisor, and relationship matchmaker — Mr. Hirth and his team bring heritage family and banking values, including accountability, practicality, and long-term trust, into today’s global capital and family collaboration landscape.
S.H. Hirth & Associates emphasizes going beyond transactions by providing creative, practical, and solution-driven advice, while connecting companies, families, and investors with strategic partners and capital resources. The firm also co-invests with families and high-net-worth individuals in small to mid-sized growth companies, with a focus on trust, integrity, alignment of interests, shared responsibility and being positively transformative.
Gamma Paradigm Research notes the next stage of Taiwanese family office development is not only overseas asset allocation, it is also access to and strong relationships with international family networks and long-term trust across generations, cultures, and markets. As a global capital markets and family office hub, New York provides Taiwanese families with direct access to international exchange and strategic resources.
The collaboration will advance across three levels: “Dialogue,” to deepen mutual understanding and trust between Taiwanese and U.S. families; “Exchange,” to support next-generation education, New York-based internships, international exposure, and leadership-oriented family governance; and “Creation,” to use Taiwan as the foundation, New York as the hub, and the world as the stage for new investment opportunities, partnerships, and family enterprise growth.
Peter Lin, Ph.D., Founder of Gamma Paradigm Research, stated: “The core of a family office is not only investment, but also trust, vision, and legacy. Gamma Paradigm hopes to serve as a bridge between Taiwanese families and leading New York families, enabling both sides to engage in direct dialogue, learn from one another, and jointly explore global opportunities for the next generation.”
Looking ahead, Gamma Paradigm Research will continue to integrate Taiwan’s industry and family resources with New York’s capital markets, family office networks, and co-investment ecosystem, helping Taiwanese family offices move toward greater internationalization, professionalism, and long-term sustainability.
